LTL Freight Carriers
LTL Freight Carriers

“ LTL freight stands for Less than Truck Load, which sort of gives a clue away as to exactly what it is all about. If you think of a consignment of goods, it’ll be of a certain size. Now that size may be enough to completely fill a semi trailer in which case it is known as FTL freight or Full Truck Load and the consignee pays for the entire cost of that truck to transport their goods.”
When the load is less than the truck load, the space is shared as well as the cost of transportation.. The carrier is responsible for arranging several loads going to the same destination, coordinating the off-loading, costs and insurance and offering a fair price for their service and still making a profit.
While being cost-effective for the client, this process is energy-saving and is important for the maintenance of a sustainable operation. The extra customer service is appreciated by clients and goes far in establishing good relations and repeat business.
